Pxlbots

The Pxlverse as we know it was created by an ancient race of sentient robots. In their never-ending quest for greater insight, a subset of bots came to the conclusion that they needed to transcend physical form in order to gain greater power and understanding. They quickly began the process of digitizing themselves in what became known as "The Great Upload," and they were known as The Uploaded. The Uploaded, unhindered by their physical forms, quickly spread throughout every network and consumed all available computing power, possessing everything they came across.
